Hart House Student Art Committee This is the official page of the Hart House Student Art Committee at the University of Toronto.

Founded in 1922, the Hart House Student Art Committee aims to provide its members with a sense of community and invaluable professional experience within the many facets of the art field. Join contemporary art enthusiasts in curating the walls and halls of Hart House, attending studio visits of Toronto's foremost artists, partaking in trips to prominent local galleries, taking part in the acquisition of new work for the House (alongside the Art Museum at the University of Toronto), and planning educational programming and activities. Open to all students at the University of Toronto (all campuses).

🧑🏼‍🎨Reminder for Call for Submissions - Fall Talking Walls 🧑🏼‍🎨

Cycles appear everywhere in life, including life itself.

Inspired by Jon Sasaki’s work ‘Homage’ which can be found in the Hart House debates room - on the wall behind where the artwork will be displayed - this exhibition encourages finding beauty in the darker parts of cycles… Here is where we can find an appreciation for earth and all that exists within it.

This exhibition invites you to respond to cycles however that may speak to you. What intrigues you about cycles? How do cycles show up in your own life?
