I walked off a TEDx stage in the middle of my talk. On purpose.

The screen went blank. My slides came back cut in half. For 2 full minutes the audience sat there, waiting, while the tech team scrambled.

I've stood on that red dot 5 times. Nothing prepares you for that moment.

So I said, "Okay, we need to start over. I'm sorry."

And I walked off.
