Aron (’26) is headed to Queen's University this fall to study Political Science!

When Aron joined in Grade 9, he was looking for a school that would challenge him academically and help him rebuild the confidence he lost during the disruptions of online learning. Through courses like Law, American History, and World History, he discovered a passion for the social sciences that ultimately shaped his path to choosing his study focus for post-secondary.

In his four years at Hudson, Aron became a standout leader in the Hudson community. As a Lead Ambassador, House Council member, Debate Club leader, and captain of the U20 Boys Volleyball team, he embraced every opportunity to connect with others, make an impact, and grow.

Reflecting on his time at Hudson, Aron describes his high school experience as “eye-opening.”

“I feel like I’ve really developed and grown here as both an individual and mentally. I’ve been challenged to the point where I know what’s important to me.”

Congratulations, Aron!

Our JK–Grade 4 students trekked out to the beautiful Kortright Centre for Conservation for a day filled with exploration, nature observation, and discovery!

Our JKs and SKs participated in an insects workshop, our Grade 1s and 2s dove into a hands-on pond study, and our Grade 3s and 4s learned about conservation and sustainability in the natural environment.

A big thank-you to Kortright for coordinating these wonderful workshops – our students had an unforgettable day of outdoor education and adventure!

Junefest 2026 brought tons of energy, teamwork, and fun to our Lower School this year!

Students teamed up in coloured groups and got the day started with cheers before playing games like Giant Scrabble, the Sponge Relay, Bean Bag Race, and more to collect points for their teams throughout the morning.

The excitement continued with inflatable obstacle courses, bouncy castles, a BBQ lunch, and snow cones. The day wrapped up with our much-anticipated annual Tug-of-War competition.

Thank you to all the families that joined us near the end of the day to enjoy some food, fun, and sun — we had a blast with you all ☀️
