Hudson College is a non-denominational, co-ed, JK-Grade 12 day school deeply committed to helping each individual student fulfill their true potential. We are dedicated to developing the whole child—academically, socially, and emotionally—and we encourage students to be intellectually curious and express who they are. From our integrated, balanced curriculum and engaging, supportive environment to our inspiring teachers—we offer students enriching opportunities to discover, collaborate, and grow at every grade level. We guide students through each stage of their journey—from Kindergarten through Grade 12, and on to university placement.

Today, we came together to honour Terry Fox’s legacy as part of the 2026 Terry Fox School Run! 💙

Our Hudson students ran in support of Terry’s mission to raise funds for cancer research, showing that together we .

We’re so proud to share that, this year, our community raised over $23,000. Thank you to everyone who ran and/or donated – your support makes a huge difference!

Today, we came together to recognize National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, also known as Orange Shirt Day. We honoured residential school survivors and reflected on the importance of listening, learning, and celebrating the strength and resilience of Indigenous cultures. 🧡

This year’s International Trip is to CHINA 🇨🇳

Students will be exploring world-famous landmarks such as the Great Wall and the Zhangjiajie National Park (famous for its ‘Avatar’ film mountains) and the highlight of the trip - a guided tour of a robot factory in Shenzhen (China’s high tech capital)!

We celebrated our incoming JKs and SKs earlier this week with our annual Kindergarten Welcome 🫶

Families had the chance to meet teachers, mingle with each other, and explore the kindergarten classrooms ahead of the first day of school – we’re excited to see these bright minds grow even brighter this year ⭐️

Sofia (’26) is headed to University of Toronto this fall to study Architectural Studies!

When Sofia joined Hudson in Grade 10 after moving to Canada, she was looking for a welcoming community where she could build new friendships while adjusting to life in a new country. Over the next three years, she found exactly that. She embraced new opportunities like Model UN, celebrated her background at school events such as Culture Day, developed her artistic voice, and discovered the confidence to step outside her comfort zone.

Along the way, she discovered a passion for architecture, building a portfolio that reflected both her creativity and her identity, which eventually led to her acceptance to University of Toronto’s prestigious Architectural Studies program.

Looking back, Sofia says, “Grade 10 Sofia would be proud of Grade 12 Sofia. She would be very surprised by how much more social and outgoing I’ve become, and I’m proud of who I’ve become.”

Jyll (’26) is headed to Dalhousie University this fall to study Costume Studies 🎭

When Jyll joined Hudson in Grade 9, she originally imagined a future in medicine. But after exploring visual arts, drama, music, and student-led arts initiatives such as Arts Fest, she discovered a passion she never expected: costume design!

During her four years at Hudson, Jyll embraced every opportunity to create and collaborate with others. She helped launch Music Club, dedicated countless hours to Arts Fest, and filled every room – especially the art room – with her signature whiteboard drawings. Through these experiences, she discovered her passion for the arts, but she also found a vibrant community that encouraged her to explore, experiment, and grow.
