17th International Alcohol Interlock Symposium, POSTPONED TO SEPTEMBER, 2022 Oslo, Norway
The organizing committee has decided to further postpone the International Alcohol Interlock Symposium to September, 2022, in the hope that the Pandemic situation will improve in the coming year. We believe this extension will help encompass, to a large extent, the immunization efforts which have been initiated in several countries.
We're also considering different ways to keep the Symposium participants up-to-date on topics pertaining to Alcohol Interlocks around the globe. Please stay tuned for ongoing updates.
• We continue to plan for the Symposium in Oslo, Norway
• We will continue to review the latest updates from the World Health Organization and the Norwegian Institute of Public Health regarding the international and regional situation – https://www.fhi.no/en
• We are fully committed to taking appropriate precautions to provide a safe and healthy environment for all participants and will communicate here and via email as additional information is received.

Having decided to postpone the International Alcohol Interlock Symposium to September 26–28, 2021, the organizing committee continues to closely monitor the situation concerning COVID-19, with the health and safety of all participants as our first priority.
We continue to plan ahead in the hope that the situation will improve. In case an in-person event will not be possible, we're studying the possibility of offering an online virtual version of the event as an alternative solution.
