Jonathan Bowden 08/31/2017

The candle which burns twice as bright burns half as long. Bowden was perhaps the greatest orator of the English language since Churchill.

Abba Lot went to see Abba Joseph and said to him, “Abba as far as I can I say my little office, I fast a little, I pray and meditate, I live in peace and as far as I can, I purify my thoughts. What else can I do?” then the old man stood up and stretched his hands towards heaven. His fingers became like ten lamps of fire and he said to him, “If you will, you can become all flame.”

PHILOSOPHY - Baruch Spinoza 01/19/2017

Spinoza is at the best of times boring and at the worst of times lying. This presentation, however, is even more impressive for the condescending manner with which it presents a contentious understanding of the thinker, so far as he can be called. It is the position of this Order that to lie about your enemy is to arm them. Truth is on our side. We need not make error seem uglier than it is.

Professor against political correctness: Part I: Fear and the Law 10/01/2016

'Political correctness' has become a catch phrase for the protection of deluded leftist degradation in the face of Truth and sanity. The perpetual attack on thought undertaken by successive leftist regimes in North America and Europe is a designed push to annihilate virtue and replace it with 'feelings'; the primacy of which is the foundation of mental illness. It is the position of this Order that political correctness is anti-philosophical and anti-civilizational.

Russian Orthodox Church against liberal globalization, usury, dollar hegemony, and... 05/31/2016

The centrality of the economic in the West has degraded the pursuit of virtue to the point where our telos now is embarrassing sums of fictitious currency leveraged to produce indulgent goods of decreasing quality for exceedingly perverse purposes. The West gained its light from the East in ancient times. The East again may save the West. It is the position of this Order that the current organization of our societies is vulgarly corrupt.

Is Traditionalism Revolutionary? A Look at Some Contemporary Propaganda 04/11/2016

A fair review of The Baron's work. Often discussed is whether Evola's position is ultimately misanthropic and nihilistic or Heroic and constructive. The position held here at current is that it bridges these camps while leaning more towards the ascetic.

Is Traditionalism Revolutionary? A Look at Some Contemporary Propaganda Is Traditionalism a revolutionary ideology, as occultist, thinker, and Traditionalist Julius Evola claimed? Is it a form of conservatism or “reactionary” thinking? Is it even political?…

Fr. John Whiteford. The Death Penalty / OrthoChristian.Com 02/24/2016

Reviewed on many occasions by The Order. The justification of the penalty of death by the civil authority is integral to legal and state stability. Without this ability a state is toothless and shows that consequence for evil is not a virtuous position; opening the door to glorification of crime and victimization of the citizenry.

Fr. John Whiteford. The Death Penalty / OrthoChristian.Com How can someone who is pro-life oppose abortion and yet be in favor of the death penalty? Christians often ask this question, but it’s hard to get a satisfactory answer. Fr. John Whiteford discusses the difference between “killing” and “murder”.
