From the canals of Venice to the ancient streets of Rome, our March Break adventure through Italy was one to remember! 🇮🇹
Twenty-eight students had the opportunity to immerse themselves in Italian history, culture, and cuisine while exploring Torino, Venice, Bologna, and Rome. From pizza and pasta-making classes to world-renowned museums, stunning churches, iconic stadiums, and unforgettable landmarks, every day brought a new experience and a deeper appreciation for this incredible country.
The memories, friendships, and lessons learned along the way will last a lifetime.
Want to be part of our next adventure? 🌍✈️
In March 2027, we're heading to Portugal and Spain! Join us for an information meeting after school tomorrow to learn more about the trip. Spots are limited and enrollment is first come, first served, so secure your place early!

This morning we celebrated the 65 Grade 9 students who earned their Community Service Graduation requirement. These young men have already achieved earned 40+ hours & we hope they continue to earn more!
The spirit of giving back to the community is alive and well at Neil McNeil.
A prayer for these young men:
Lord,
Today we gather in gratitude for our Grade 9 students who have completed their Freshman 40 journey.
We thank You for the generosity they have shown, the time they have given, and the compassion they have shared with others.
Through acts of service, they have begun to discover the importance of kindness, responsibility, and community.
May they continue to recognize that even small acts of love and service can make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
Bless these students as they continue their high school journey.
Guide them to be people of integrity, empathy, and faith.
Help them to use their gifts to serve others with open hearts and willing spirits.
We also give thanks to the families, staff, and community members who encouraged and supported them along the way.
May this celebration remind us all that we are called not only to learn, but also to care for one another and to live out our faith through service.
We ask this in Your name.
Amen.

Catholic Education Week is here ✨
Each year, Ontario’s Catholic community comes together to celebrate the unique identity and lasting impact of Catholic education. At Neil McNeil, this week is a meaningful opportunity to reflect on who we are, what we value, and how we live out our faith each day.
This year’s theme, “Pilgrims of Hope: On the Path to Holiness,” invites us to journey together with faith, purpose, and optimism. Rooted in our Spiritan tradition, we are called to build a community grounded in compassion, service, and brotherhood — where each person is supported and encouraged to grow.
Throughout the week, we reflect on the daily themes:
Monday: Peace be with you
Tuesday: God loves you
Wednesday: Christ saves you
Thursday: The Holy Spirit lives in you
Friday: Together on the journey
As a school community, may we continue to walk together — lifting one another up, serving with humility, and leading with hope.
🙏 A Prayer for Our Community
Loving God,
Guide us as pilgrims of hope on our journey of faith.
Help us to live out the values of our Spiritan tradition —
to welcome others, to serve with compassion, and to stand together in brotherhood.
Remind us that your peace is with us, your love surrounds us, and your Spirit lives within us.
May we walk this path with courage and kindness,
supporting one another as we grow closer to you.
Amen.

Mental Health Awareness Week is here 💚
Each year, schools and communities across Canada recognize this important week during the first full week of May, alongside Catholic Education Week. It’s a time to pause, reflect, and intentionally focus on student well-being within our faith-filled community.
This year’s theme, “Come Together, TCDSB,” reminds us that connection is at the heart of strong mental health. When we support one another, we build a community where everyone feels seen, valued, and cared for.
Our SLICE team (Student Leaders in Catholic Education) has been hard at work planning fun and meaningful lunchtime activities all week long — from karaoke to board games and more! 🎤🎲 These moments are all about bringing us together, creating joy, and strengthening connections.
We encourage all students to get involved, try something new, and take time to check in with themselves and each other.
Because when we come together, we thrive. 💫
