You can now register for the Canadian Adult Education Credential (CAEC) assessment to earn a high school equivalency certificate in Ontario. The CAEC replaces the General Education Development (GED) certificate.

September 30th marks the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, also known as Orange Shirt Day.

It's a day dedicated to remembering and honouring survivors of the residential school system, which aimed at assimilating First Nations, Inuit, and Métis children, and remembering those who did not return home.

This day also acknowledges the intergenerational impacts of this system on Indigenous families and communities.
