Today marks the International Day of Innocent Children Victims of Aggression.
At ALPHA Education, we turn our focus to the children, those who have experienced violence, conflict, and injustice, and whose experiences and stories are too often overlooked and forgotten.
Children are among the most vulnerable victims of war and aggression, yet their voices are so rarely brought to the forefront. We remember them. We honour them. And we commit to advocating for their protection, not just today, but every day. 💙

In a world full of differences, peace is a choice we make every day. Today is a reminder that true strength lies in unity, in choosing acceptance over division, inclusion over exclusion, and harmony over conflict.
At ALPHA Education, we believe education is the foundation for a more peaceful world.

On the Time of Remembrance and Reconciliation for Those Who Lost Their Lives During the Second World War, we reflect not only on WWII in Europe, but also the often overlooked histories of WWII in Asia.
Remembrance is not just about looking back. It’s about expanding voices we carry forward.

Endgame tells the story of brave Chinese Canadians who stepped forward during wartime, hoping to prove they belonged.
Through family connections, identity, and untold stories, this book helps students see how the past connects to their lives today, and how we can all think more critically about the stories we hear and share.
Come join us this Thursday, the 30th, for a book talk by Endgame's author, Catherine Little, at WongAvery Asia Pacific Peace Museum, to explore the often-overlooked history of a group of Chinese men who volunteered to serve the Canadian military behind enemy lines during World War II in Asia.
