In case you haven't heard...
Strands at York University
Strands is a club that encourages eligible students to donate their hair to help those experiencing hair loss due to medical conditions.
Strands is a charitable organization at York University that holds events where students can donate hair right on campus. Our club is currently affiliated with registered Canadian charity, A Child's Voice Foundation (ACVF). Hair and monetary donations collected by Strands will be sent to this organization. ACVF uses funds and hair donations to create wigs for financially disadvantaged children who experience hair loss due to medical conditions such as alopecia and cancer treatments.
