Over here realizing that so many parents of little ones won’t have time or remember to carve out a post-holiday exhale, for themselves, to reflect on 2023. It's nearly 2 months in and I'm STILL reflecting.

If you’re over there feeling like the moment has passed, know that I am too, but keep reading to see why it matters, even when it feels like the world has moved on.

What did I do in 2023?

👋🏼 I connected

💭 To a vision for my life and work that I had been dreaming up for years 🏘️ To my community and government 🥕To my health, taking ownership and finding empowerment through celiac and SIBO 🎸 To my friends, making time to see them, their art, and to let loose and play 💌 To my partner and family, with tenderness and togetherness as our superpower ✨ To life and death through goodbyes I wasn’t read to make and heartbreak from the other side of the world 🌱 To growth, bringing on 2 new team members 💃🏻 To feel good movement, every day of every week this year ☀️ To the sweetest new and familiar families through our programs and events 📚 To big ideas and frameworks, writing, and sharing.

2023 was so much bigger than I ever expected! In ways I can show you but I’m so many ways I can’t… yet 😉

My biggest lesson of the year?

I learned to find the YES to what mattered to me, no matter how small.

Yes to arriving late but still showing up. Yes to short meetings during busy days. Yes to find help. Yes to tiny progress. Yes to small habits that helped me grow. Yes to reflecting on 2022 months into the new year so that I could bring intention to the months that followed.

And with that in my pocket and am SO ready for what 2024 will bring 🫢 And so ready to bring what I have to the next 12 months!
