📣 Theme Announcement: Ways of Seeing 📣

🌍️ When we look at the world around us, we often have a static view of life.
Certain things are important to us, while other things we ignore.

👀 What is striking to some people, others are totally blind to.
Some view the world as limited, closed off, and gated. Others view it as unlimited, open, and full of opportunities.

👉️ In this week's Toastmasters meeting, Chair Michael invites us to consider looking at the world beyond our own unique perspective.
Learning from the experiences of others is a great way to start realizing that our interpretation of the world around us is just one of many possible ways of seeing.

🌱 Join us to discover how new and different experiences can change our ways of seeing.

Why isn't the plural of house HICE?

👃 Why does your NOSE run.....while your FEET smell?

📢 Announcing the theme for our Wednesday, June 24 meeting: Shattering Illusions: East and West!

How do we make sure we get wiser with age?

We become wiser by understanding that certain ways of thinking don’t bring us happiness and contentment. By getting rid of societal influence and illusory beliefs that impact our way of thinking, we are able to gain a fresh perspective, and go back to a beginner’s mindset, thus, in this way, gain a fresh perspective in life.

Building on two past themes, "Walking Through the Door" from last week and "Shoshin: Adopting a Beginner's Mind" from last September, this meeting will help you discover brand new perspectives for life! Join us to find out more!
