All smiles for Parents' Day in Kindergarten 💛
We were so happy to welcome the parents of our Kindergarteners for a special morning of celebrating all things parents! Our youngest students sang songs dedicated to their parents, made crafts together, and even enjoyed a photobooth 📷😁 What a wonderful morning!

Science day at the University of Toronto!🔬
Grades 5–11 had a great field trip to U of T, as part of our ongoing collaboration with the university. Students got to explore the labs and run real experiments on themselves! They tested their hearing vision, measured their lung capacity and grip strength, and even checked their blood pressure in different positions.💪

Exams in progress! 🤓
Over the last two weeks, our grade 12 students have been busy writing their International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme exams. Having opened our high school just a few years ago, this is our very first grade 12 graduating class!
We are so proud of how they have prepared and studied over the past two years of the Diploma Programme, and we are confident that their hard work will lead to success.
Our younger students wanted to show their support and surprised the grade 12s with well wishes for the exams. 😊
You can do it, grade 12! 🎉

Europatag 🇪🇺 Europe Day
Students from grades 9 & 10 hosted a special Europe Day assembly yesterday for the entire school! They shared the history of the European Union and the importance of peace and unity. After the assembly, the whole school danced their way back to class!
As a school, we're proud to celebrate these values. GIST families come from all around the world, and we are committed to educating globally minded citizens.
Thank you to our students for their hard work and presentation, and as well to our Kindergarteners, who coloured the flags of all the countries in the EU 👏🤩

For the first time in the history of our school, students took the German Language Diploma II (DSD II) exam. All eight GIST students successfully passed!
The certificates were presented at the German Consulate General in Toronto by Consul General Wagner-Mitchell. Thank you, German Consulate General Toronto, for your support and for recognizing our students’ achievements.
The DSD II is an internationally recognized certification of German language proficiency and an important qualification for students pursuing post-secondary pathways in Germany.
Congratulations to all of our students on their achievement. We're very proud of your hard work!
