OHANA means FAMILY regardless of personal style, age, race, gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, language, physical, ability, religion, citizenship status, socioeconomic circumstances, education and life experiences. NO ONE PERSON GETS LEFT BEHIND. As your Birth Doula I will guide and support you and your partner continuously, providing you and your partner with suggestions of comfort. Whenever possible, I will provide PRE and POST PARTAM emotional support, including an explanation and discussion of practices and procedures. I will guide you in acquiring the knowledge necessary for you to make informed decisions about your care. Ohana Doula Services will advocate for your wishes as expressed in your birth choices, in prenatal conversations and intra-partum discussions, by encouraging you to ask questions of your care provider and to express your preferences and concerns. I will help you incorporate changes in your choices when they arise and enhance communication between you and your care provider. I stand by the scope of practice in our continuity of care, and should I be inable to attend a birth, back-up arrangements with another Doula will be made. Our motto : LOVE - CARING - TOGETHERNESS

She's no stranger to loneliness ..

No stranger to grief

No stranger to loss

No stranger to hurt

No stranger to shame

And It is because
she is no stranger to suffering

That she can be the healing touch
To all that come to her in pain.

If you ask her,

“Do you have any regrets?"
"If you could change your past would you?"

She would answer..

"I've lived through some hard times,
but I wouldn't change one moment of it ..

I was broken
In order to open ..

The compassion that now
flows through my heart

Is the grace of Divine Mother..

Nothing that I have experienced
Has been in vain".

From the very start, you’ve been my safety net, my comfort, my strength, my protector, and my laughter all wrapped up into one BIG bundle. 🩵

I’m so grateful for you, for your heart, your wisdom, and the way you show up for the people you love. Family has always been the most important thing to you, and I hope you know how much I truly appreciate the support you’ve never hesitated to give me and the kiddos. 🩵

May this year bring you peace where you need it most, joy that sneaks up on you in the best ways, and moments that remind you just how special you are. You deserve to be celebrated today and always.

Remember that !

Parental Alienation Isn’t Love, and you can’t convince me it is… because it’s abuse

If your child feels guilty for loving their other parent…

If they’re interrogated after visits…

If affection is rewarded only when negativity is shared…

If love feels conditional…

That’s not protection.
That’s alienation.
And ultimately, ABUSE.

And the damage doesn’t show up immediately… it shows up later as anxiety, identity confusion, loyalty conflicts, and emotional shutdown.

Kids deserve both parents, unless one is genuinely unsafe… not just inconvenient, triggering, or disliked.

Today we celebrate you, your heart, your strength, your kindness, and the light you bring into all of our lives. Please know how deeply you are loved, not just today but always. From me and the girls, who love you like a sister, remember you are cherished beyond words.

You are, and will always be, a priority to me. Watching you grow into the young woman you’re becoming fills my heart with so much pride. Your resilience, your spirit, and your compassion never go unnoticed.
