A Special Author Visit at Avenue Road Childcare!

Our children had a wonderful time taking part in a special book reading and signing with Val Murray, author of Kate and the Dragon and Sebastian and the Royal Heir. 🐉👑

The children enjoyed listening to the stories, meeting the author, and discovering the magic of books and storytelling. It was a memorable experience that encouraged imagination, curiosity, and a love of reading! ❤️📖

Our little artists had a wonderful time exploring colours, textures, and creativity through sensory painting! A fun, messy, hands-on experience that encouraged curiosity and imagination. 💕✨

Our children had a wonderful time participating in a yoga breathing exercise using a yoga ball! 🧘‍♀️⚽ Through deep breathing and gentle movement, they practiced mindfulness, focus, and self-regulation while having fun. Activities like these help children develop body awareness, relaxation techniques, and healthy coping skills that support their overall well-being.

The Magical Metamorphosis – May Highlights 🐛🦋

In May, our children explored the incredible transformation of a caterpillar into a butterfly. Through hands-on activities, stories, and observations, they learned about the butterfly life cycle and the wonders of nature. It was a magical learning experience that sparked curiosity and appreciation for the world around them!
