What is a MODERN DAY WISE WOMAN?

BREAKING THE MOULD:

If you troll the internet and read all kinds of books you will find all kinds of definitions and spooky stories about "the wise woman"... And while little bits of it kind of made sense to me, so much of it was off and certainly off for this day and age. With all due respect if the definitions given please you & empower you then don't worry about mine... Rock on and have fun with it. But I knew for me I wasn't going to allow myself to be labelled or defined. It was time for an upgrade and thats how Modern Day Wise Woman was born. :)

IT'S WHAT YOU ANSWER TO THAT MATTERS:

My closest friends and the women I work with will often joke and call me t'he oracle', t'heir true north star', "their high counsel', ' shawoman, '... But really I believe that every single one of us possesses all of these qualities in our own unique way... And when given the love, the guidance and the right tools... We all can shine brightly. But it's not what people call you, it's what you answer to that matters (love this african proverb my mom always says). Okay I digress....

I SAY I AM A MODERN DAY WISE WOMAN


A modern day wise woman is a teacher, life bearer and a leader - she use the power of love to bring new life & restore lost life and goodness back into the world.

A modern day wise woman is a woman who's vision of optimum health includes mind, body and spirit.

A modern day wise modern day wise woman is a woman values and knows the power of her own intuition.

A modern day wise woman is a woman who isn't afraid to hone her ancient feminine powers, explore the realms of mysticism, while also learning, utilizing & honouring the latest advancements in modern day science.

A modern day wise woman is a woman who draws power from inner knowing (wisdom) as well as her external surroundings.

A modern day wise woman is a woman who speaks up for who and what she believes in and isn't sorry. In fact she believes that's it's part of her birth right to do so and to be herself.

A modern day wise woman is woman who views other women as sisters and part of the whole not a vehicle to compete against, tear down or hold back.


A modern day wise woman is woman who uses her own life experiences, her unique gifts and the truth that lives inside of her DNA to offer counsel, knowledge and wisdom to those who are seeking.


A modern day wise woman is who is a student of universal law who is never finished learning - she believes life is a learning process.


A modern day wise woman is a woman who doesn't think that she must live outside of the material world in order to be spiritual. She can be wealthy, successful, happy & spiritual.


A modern day wise woman is a woman who cares about the spirit of humanity & all human kind.


A modern day wise woman is an energy healer - whether its through reiki, music, dance, art, story telling, baking, teaching... She heals the world through her self expression.


A modern day wise woman is a woman who loves herself wholly and completely and offers others the opportunity to do the same for themselves.


A wise woman is a woman who make the world a better place.

Loving ourselves and being ourselves in fullest glory and living from our highest divine expression, all women are wise women.

My wish is that one day seeing ourselves as such will be the norm. So shine on sisters!! Find your light and never let it dim. And to the men who support us, love us, heal us and teach us thank you! Because truly we cannot do this without you.

Prayer for Peace & Thanksgiving
Great and Eternal Mystery of Life, Creator of All Things, I give thanks for the beauty You put in every single one of Your creations.

I am grateful that You did not fail in making every stone, plant, creature, and human being a perfect and whole part of the Sacred Hoop.

I am grateful that You have allowed me to see the strength and beauty of All My Relations.

My humble request is that all of the Children of Earth will learn to see the same perfection in themselves.

May none of Your human children doubt or question Your wisdom, grace, and sense of wholeness in giving all of Creation a right to be living extensions of Your perfect love.

I'm either crazy or crazy in love with the possibility of being in the best health ever!! Early morning, I'm on vacation and ya I'm heading to the gym to work it out and feel good!

We experienced a wild ice storm here in the tdot! Hope power has been restored to all of those who went without & that everyone had a chance to take in some of the rare beauty.

So we were completly shocked when walking around downtown Toronto in the rain, we were greeted by smiling faces asking us if we wanted free cups of hot chocolate to warm us up!! Awesome!! So glad we decided to walk instead of hop on the subway or we would have missed out on this little surprise :) ilovetheholidays

Don't wait to celebrate your accomplishments. Celebrate every step of the way!

There I am working away when I hear a huge kerfuffle over in the other room. I go to investigate the matter and lo and behold I find this sight my cat in complete jubilation eating a gift my friend gave to me!! We entered into a tug a war and I couldn't resist capturing a shot of her game face. Ps. I won the game.

Today's Self-love Mantra ❤️I am conscious. Okay so with the holidays are moods are all over the place. But have you ever stopped to notice how addicted we all are to trying to figure out the complex "why" we we feel or are thinking the way we do. Listen I'm no different as a psychology and spiritual ju**ie I love diving into the world of the subconscious but sometime it's just simple biology. We just need to look at what we are putting into our mouths or not putting into our mouths. With the frenzy and fun of the holidays don't lose sight of balance. Hydrate, eat delicious raw foods as well and I promise you - it will keep at worst from flying off the deep end and at best make you feel amazing!!!
