Hey everyone, if you're around on April 18 and attended Bessborough the school is hosting a 100-year anniversary event. I know I can't walk past the school without remembering Mr. Rice throwing a ball of clay at David Dane in art class and shouting "What's so funny about lubrication!?" Good times.

Hey everyone, counting down the hours now. Don't worry about buying tickets online at this point, I can take cash at the door. Please share, tell people, twist arms, call in favours, etc. - the more the merrier! We're going late as well if you have any other plans. Can't wait to see everyone!

Hey everyone, it's one week from our 30th reunion. If you haven't bought a ticket yet please take a minute to go to Eventbrite - https://www.eventbrite.ca/e/391805299197
I will still be able to take money at the door, but it would be good to know in advance how much food to order, how many bottles of bubbly, etc.
Also, please, please share with everybody you're in contact with at Leaside - it's not like we didn't hang out with the Class of 1991 or 1993, and the more the merrier. I'm also kind of limited by my friend list on FB, and I don't spend a lot of time there.
Can't wait to see everyone!

Hi everyone, less than two weeks to the reunion which means it's once again time to annoy you with a link to buy tickets: https://www.eventbrite.ca/e/leaside-high-school-class-of-1992-reunion-tickets-391805299197?fbclid=IwAR0wzbhF3vcGnzltu5kFowr861gWQ9nGISTyiM0dUf2n0xUw7I3HklTXLZ4
The tickets cover the rental of the room, plus food, drinks, decorations, etc. I have a limited number of contacts in FB, so please share with others I may have missed.

Hi everyone, I have a possible venue for the reunion - Originals is out because they have another booking on Sept. 24. The Amsterdam Barrel House on Laird has this venue available.
The catch is that it's based on minimum spend. To get the inside and outside area on the second floor we have to commit to spending about $4,000 or make up the difference. It think we had about 50 people in 2017 so that's about $80 each for food and drinks per person.
Otherwise I could rent the inside only for a $2,000 minimum spend and then we could go outside if it's nice - it would just be open to the public so seats wouldn't be guaranteed.
What does everyone think? $80-$100 is probably how much I would spend anyway, but not everybody would do that.
Alternatively I could sell tickets for $30 each and then we'd have around $1,500 to buy appies and champagne, and then we'd only have to make up $2,500 with our combined bar bills. Again, seems very doable.

Hey everybody, please set aside September 17 for our 30th year reunion and send any suggestions you may have to the comments. I can book Originals again, but there are lots of other options for locations all over the city - and I've been living away so long I have no idea what they are! Ideas?

Hi everyone, 2022 marks the five-year reunion of our 25th high school reunion, also known as our 30 Year Reunion. September worked well last time, and I'm likely looking at September 10 or September 17. Please reply and let me know if you're interested and if you have any ideas for venues or events.

It just occurred to me that 2022 is the 30th year reunion for the class of 1992. I'm open to ideas...

To follow up on my earlier post, there's a YouCaring campaign on for Keri Harrison. We made an extra $125 or so from reunion tickets, and I've sent her $150 on our behalf.

Here is your chance to shine once again and come together as I know Revelstoke and and beyond can, to help a friend in need have a 'leg up' to some especially difficult time and expenses. Keri suffers from Lyme disease and other health concerns and is currently facing some extra expenses on her...

Hey everyone, thanks for coming out and celebrating with me - it might have been 25 years but it really did feel like yesterday. I didn't get to talk to everyone I wanted to even if my throat feels like I was talking non-stop, but it was incredible to see everyone and spend even a short amount of time with you. I wish I took more pictures, but the ones you've been posting have been amazing.
A few details:
1. Thanks for tipping our waitress well - she worked her ass off but was super happy at the end of the night.
2. I came out a little bit ahead with the money, even after tipping the wait staff. I have to add everything up, but I'm planning to donate anything extra to a classmate of ours who is having a hard time - buy her some pizzas so she doesn't have to cook, send some groceries to her house, that kind of thing. I'll keep everyone posted.
3. I'm going to keep this page alive. I'll make some changes, but it's a good place to post things and keep in touch. I do visit The Six almost every year, and will let everyone know when I'm back in town. And if you're ever out in Whistler look me up!
Thanks for coming, I was blown away by the turnout and how far people traveled to be there. Keep being awesome! It was a privilege for me to put this together for such a great group of people, and I would happily do it all again. And again.
Andrew
