About me:

Sheri's Little Peeps Home Daycare is a LEGAL NON-LICENSED CHILD CARE PROVIDER

Adhering to all Daycare regulations and codes. Located between Main St./Woodbine one street North of Danforth and conveniently located along the subway line. Sheri's Little Peeps is open Monday - Friday 7:30 am - 5:30 pm and runs on a 12-month schedule. Sheri provides high-quality childcare in an inclusive, nurturing, enriching, supportive and loving home environment, a home away from home for your little one to grow. Sheri also has the title of RECE and is a member in good standing of the College of Early Childhood Educators. Sheri's Little Peeps follows a structured routine but is flexible to the children's interests. Patients, sharing, independence, creativity, self-esteem building, empathy, love of nature, exploration, love and friendship are our core beliefs the children work very hard to achieve. Childcare is available for up to 5 FULL-TIME children (ages 11/12 months - 4 years).

The house has a fully fenced-in backyard with a garden-like environment-interlocking brick for playing with outside toys (water table, sand table, chalkboard, ride-on toys, table & chairs, mulch pit for digging, mud kitchen, and playhouse)

A smoke-free environment with pets (children do not physically interact with the parrots). Sheri's Little Peeps is committed to providing a nutritious balanced diet for your child and follows the Canadian food guide. Two snacks and lunch provided. This is NOT A NUT-FREE ENVIRONMENT! The kids really liked this activity, so we played with it over a few days. We made X-Mas trees and gift boxes from magnetic tiles, then decorated them with lights, bells, and pipe cleaners. The activity was very fun for the kids; they used their imaginations, artistic skills to decorate, gross and fine motor skills, problem-solving, and many other skills. The 2- and 3-year-olds love magnetic tiles; they play with them almost every day!

We play with this Advent calendar all year round, not just at Christmas. The small drawers are perfect for hiding small items while children work on fine motor and cognitive skills.
