Grad Gala tickets are still on sale at ESAinfo.ca. Happening this Tuesday, June 6th at The R***e Theatre in Roncesvalles, it's a final send off for our very talented 2023 graduating class. Featuring a range of approaches, from laugh out loud comedies to heart-felt documentaries, each film is a true reflection of each of the filmmakers. There will quite truly be something for everyone. If you are planning on joining us, please note that tickets will not be sold at the door and that the show starts at 6:45pm.

After screening over 90 films over the past three nights, Film Week finished with a bang. Michael Seater - ESA alum and iconic Canadian TV actor and director - presented the 12th annual Shaftesbury "Best in Show" awards. Honourable mentions went to Gabe Hurtz, Rachel Donaldson, Quinn Lytle and Ashley Canturk. The jury found their films to be deeply entertaining and professionally produced....

After a great show on Tuesday night, Film Week continues on Wednesday and Thursday night in the auditorium. Both nights feature work from the 9, 10 and 11 cohorts with a few gems from the animation classes and the grade 12s. On Thursday evening after the screening, the "Shaftesbury" Best in Show Awards will be presented by ESA alum and Canadian Television icon, Michael Seater....

ESA Film's annual celebration of our students' work is nearly open us. Film Week runs May 30th, May 31st and June 1st in the auditorium and will showcase a unique set of films on each night. Each show will feature the work of the 9s, 10s and 11s (along with some Grade 12 gems and scattered throughout). There will be something for everyone - from docs to comedies, dramas to experimental films....
