Before I was a coach, I was just a kid who lived for game day. 🏈
Football was my first love, even wothout the pads, the hits, the brotherhood. Then rugby got a hold of me. Tougher. Longer. No pads to hide behind.
Honestly? I played everything. If it had a ball, a field, or a finish line I was in.
I wasn't the most talented kid out there. But I was the one who never wanted to leave the field.
And sports gave me a lot of what I coach today: show up, work hard, plan smart, don't quit on yourself. I just didn't know it yet.
This is Chapter 1 of my story. Every Saturday, one chapter, the wins, the rock bottoms, all of it. Chapter 2 drops next week.
