This morning, our SK's celebrated the end of their Kindergarten journey.
Families were invited to journey through the year of learning as students showcased their growth, knowledge, and creativity across all areas of the SK curriculum. Through songs, presentations and examples of their work, our SK experts confidently shared their experiences and accomplishments from the year.
We are so proud of all they have achieved this year and look forward to watching them continue to grow, learn and shine in Grade 1!

Last week, our students and staff gathered on the field to say goodbye to our beloved Shinshiniyot, Omer and Maya 💙
Throughout the year, Omer and Maya brought warmth, energy, friendship and a deep connection to Israel into our classrooms and community. To express our gratitude, each class prepared a presentation in Hebrew.
It was a heartfelt and emotional celebration of a very special year. While we are sad to see them go, we are incredibly grateful for the impact they have had on our school and on each of our students.
Omer and Maya, thank you for everything. You will always be a part of our Heschel family. We wish you all the best in your next adventures and know that you will be deeply missed.

The Grade 7's are working on their Monotheism unit. Students explore Christianity through its Jewish roots, examining where the traditions align, where they begin to diverge, and how shared texts are interpreted differently.
Working in groups, students dive into core topics like the Messiah, the Trinity, Crucifixion, Sin, Afterlife, and different forms of Christianity, analyzing primary sources from both the Old and New Testament and engaging deeply with complex ideas.
Their culminating project? Interactive "learning quests" (think digital escape rooms), where they teach their peers through exploration, questions, and discovery.
This is what learning looks like at Heschel:
Curious, Critical and Deeply Engaged.

7 days.
An evening of music, light and something you won't quite be able to explain, only feel.
We've been quietly building this...and it is almost here.
