Open Letter to UofT: We demand the immediate restoration of Dr. Azarova’s job offer! 05/16/2021

OPEN LETTER TO UOFT

As Palestinians continue to be violently dispossessed, murdered, and silenced, the University of Toronto has rescinded a job offer to renowned international lawyer Dr. Valentina Azarova due to her work on Palestine and the Israeli occupation. This decision was based on the objections of a major donor and sitting judge who was the former director of the Zionist lobby group, The Center for Israel and Jewish Affairs (CIJA).

**We, as students of the University of Toronto, stand strongly against this silencing of Palestinian issues and call all students, student groups, faculty, staff, and alumni from the University of Toronto and beyond to stand in solidarity with Dr. Azarova and the CAUT censure against the university.**

Please read and sign our full letter to Dean Iacobucci and President Gertler and join us in pressuring the university to restore Dr. Azarova's offer:
