This class is an excellent introduction to the world of dance. A parent/guardian is invited to participate in the class to help students become comfortable with the dance studio. The instructor uses a variety of songs, rhymes, and physical exercises to build the child’s coordination and motor skills while encouraging their imagination. The songs and exercises are presented through creative play as this is a proven way that helps children learn. The instructor will also work with the parent/guardian to help prepare students to enter the dance space on their own. Each child is different, though, so there is never any pressure for them to do the class without the parent/guardian present.

Our camps are run by experienced teachers who know how to engage the children while making sure everyone stays safe and has a great time. A variety of dance styles are learned to help keep the campers active. Crafts, camp games, and other activities are also done throughout the day. Students spend time outside at a nearby park, and week-long programs finish with water games on the Friday afternoon.

We had a wonderful time at the Guild Festival Theatre Family Fest this weekend. Coming off of our performance on Friday, we had two great days of crafts and dance classes.
Always thrilled to be a part of this event.

Day 1 of the Guild Festival Theatre Family Fest done and our Jay9 Dancers had a great time. The performance was wonderful. The free fun family festival is happening Saturday and Sunday with activities happening from 1pm till 7pm.
Come by for all the fun and join Miss Jannine both days at 5:30pm for a Dance Class on the stage.
