At George Brown, we recognize that reconciliation requires more than reflection, it calls on us to continue listening, learning and taking meaningful action.

As we wear orange today, we reflect on the truths of the residential school system and our shared responsibility to carry the work of reconciliation forward.

This means e-scooters cannot be operated, brought inside, stored or charged at George Brown campuses and facilities.

The policy helps keep our community safe and supports existing City of Toronto e-scooter regulations.

♿ Mobility devices used by people with disabilities are exempt from these restrictions.

⚠️ Dear George Brown Community,

George Brown teams continue to work closely with electrical contractors to restore power at Casa Loma Campus following the damage caused by yesterday’s extreme weather conditions.

At this time, restoration work remains ongoing and Casa Loma Campus ONLY will remain closed until further notice.

We understand this situation has disrupted plans for students and employees, particularly those who were scheduled to attend Orientation activities. Our teams will continue recovery efforts throughout the coming days, and we will share further updates over the weekend.

Thank you for your patience and understanding as this work continues. The safety of our students, employees and visitors remains our top priority.
