Virtual Tour and Networking Event Alert 🚨

The CBC’s Transformation Office takes a lead role in developing CBC’s use of metadata to support content personalization and intelligence.

The presentation will include a video followed by a panel discussion. Library and archives representatives from across the department will be available to answer your questions.

The event will run for approximately 1 hour. Zoom link will be given closer to the date when signing up. Link in bio ❤️

Another Day with ACA, Another Free Tour ⭐️

The ArQuives house tour offers an introduction to the organization’s mission, mandate, and history. Attendees will see some of the spaces in which the collection is stored and processed, in addition to the places where staff, volunteers, and researchers work. The tour will be led by archivists Stefanie and Zoe. 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️

Welcome fellow iSchool students! We are the Association of Canadian Archivists (ACA) University of Toronto Student Chapter, and we are excited to be hosting the 11th Annual Human Library event this year! 🎉

The Human Library is a networking event where students from the Faculty of Information at U of T have the opportunity to speak one-on-one with professionals in the Library and Archives fields. Each year, we invite approximately 10+ library and archive professionals to support students’ professional development 📨
