The only time you will catch me wearing yoga pants is if before or after I teach a yoga class, I will also be lifting weights in a gym. Period!

No, I am not a physical fitness instructor but the research is clear! From a Gerontological perspective and as a soon to be gerontologist….run not walk and find yourself a good instructor and gym.

Why: Be present, Come Back to Self, Self Care, and Reduced Stress, Anxiety. Research shows that mindfulness/ meditation reduces inflammation and blood pressure and helps with chronic pain.
How it works: We meet online via zoom during the week to practice mindfulness

Who: Great for everyone, including those new to mindfulness, continuing their practice, or those who would like to return to a mindful practice.

The last one was 2 years ago, and it had 50 beautiful people who practiced weekly for 4 weeks, and it was AMAZING Energy!

I’ve had a few messages come in recently asking if all is well. Yes! All is well. 🙏🏾

I’m just quietly over here minding my p’s and q’s, working away like you.
*
I practice mindfulness on the daily instead of the news.
*
I have good discussions with my sons who are both home while in school. One in high school and the other in university (mostly in pajamas 😂).
*
I cuss when I’m frustrated and then move on.
*
I laugh till I cry when someone sends me a funny tik tok video.
*
All in all life is good. Zero complaints.
