OET has now been added to the recognised list of English tests for US immigration by the Health Resources & Services Administration (HRSA), an agency of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.

Following this approval, OET is in the process of being added to the Commission on Graduates of Foreign Nursing Schools' (CGFNS International) credentialing system for verification.

This is great news for nurses and other allied healthcare professionals as they will be able to use their OET results when applying for US visas.

Invitations went to candidates who may be eligible for Ontario’s Express Entry Human Capital Priorities Stream. They needed to have a profile in the Express Entry system with a Comprehensive Ranking System score between 456 and 467.

Due to the extension of the Ontario lockdown, CES Toronto Exams has suspended paper-based IELTS testing only in the Toronto and York regions until January 23, 2021. All affected candidates will be contacted very shortly.

We will be conducting computer-delivered IELTS with a COVID protocol in place.
