Thank you to everyone who expressed interest in being a panelist for our Upper Year Panel, happening this Monday, Sept 14 (4:30-6:30 PM) at Wymilwood Lounge! 🍎

We were so happy to see so many upper years reach out and were throughly impressed by your proactivity. Our executive positions are still open on a rolling basis, and there’s more to come from future events even though we’ve reached capacity.

We’re announcing that we’ve opened up Academic Commission Executive Team applications on a rolling basis! 📣This means that so long as the position remains open, you can apply for it and we’ll view your submission! This is an amazing opportunity to learn what it’s like working on Victoria College’s student government body (VUSAC) and to earn leadership experience here at Vic!

We’re also excited to say that our First Year Representative positions are now available! Our first-year reps will help make the Academic Commission even more engaging this year by representing the commission at our events and delivering first-year feedback straight to us. You’ll be directly working with upper years on improving Vic as an academic space. 🍎

📣Round 2 of applications for VUSAC’s Academic Commission has officially begun! 📣
Plenty of our executive roles are still open, so the commission has decided to introduce a second round of applications for anyone who needs an extension or is just hearing about our exec hiring!

Available Roles (See role descriptions in our bio for more info):
• Secretary (x1)
• Events Coordinator (x1)
• Social Media Manager (x1)
• Graphic Designer (x2)

We’re looking for passionate, creative, and enthusiastic student leaders to help organize and host exciting academic and community events throughout the year. Whether you have extensive leadership experience or are looking to get involved for the first time, we encourage students from all areas of study to apply!
