It is a great fit for motivated & gifted learners. Our goal is to allow even very young minds to enjoy the fruits of learning.

SLI The Sidney Ledson School is a private school in Toronto offering preschool, kindergarten & elementary grades with small class sizes, early reading, advanced academics & enrichment. Our highly trained teaching specialists lead children along the tested path that, throughout history, has yielded intellectual titans: John Stewart Mill, Jeremy Bentham, Karl Witte, William James Sidis, Norbert Wien

Our preschool campers love gathering together to listen, imagine, ask questions, and discover new words along the way. It is a simple part of the day that helps build early literacy, language development, and a lifelong love of reading.

Messy science is often the most memorable. Students put their creativity and problem solving to work as they designed, built, tested, and refined their experiments, discovering that some of the best learning happens through hands-on exploration. πŸ§ͺπŸ”¬βœ¨

Year-end celebration week for our younger students included plenty of opportunities to play, explore, and connect with friends. From playground adventures and group activities to outdoor story time and shared laughter, students enjoyed celebrating the end of another wonderful year together. It was also a wonderful opportunity for students and teachers to enjoy these experiences side by side, creating joyful memories and strengthening the sense of community that makes SLI so special. β˜€οΈπŸ“šπŸŒ³

We were honoured to welcome MP Maggie Chi, Member of Parliament for Don Valley North, who presented graduating student Aiden Chen with her Citizenship Award.

This recognition celebrates character, leadership, personal growth, and a commitment to making a positive difference in the lives of others. We are proud to see these qualities reflected in our students and recognized beyond the classroom.

Congratulations, Aiden, on this well-deserved recognition, and thank you to MP Chi for joining us in celebrating student achievement at SLI The Sidney Ledson School.

Yesterday, our students had the opportunity to meet local authors, hear the stories behind their books, ask thoughtful questions, and discover what it takes to bring an idea from imagination to publication. From signed books to inspiring conversations, the visit gave students a firsthand look at the creative process and the many possibilities that begin with a love of reading and writing.

Thank you to our visiting authors for sharing their time, experiences, and passion with our students. πŸ“šβœ¨
