Author claims abortion is bad for mothers and society Author Ian Gentles has written a book on abortion which argues that abortions are bad for mothers and society.
The deadline has now passed for nominations for the Jean Echlin Award. We were thrilled by the variety of submissions that came in, representing all areas of Palliative Care, including medical doctors, nurses, bioethicists, and even advocates. Thank you to everyone who took the time to nominate such worthy candidates, and we look forward to next year's nominations. We will be announcing the winner at the 20th International Congress on Palliative Care on September 11th, 2014, after Jean Echlin & Dr. Kathy Pfaff's presentation at the Congress on Pain Management for Persons with Dementia.
