These stunning drawings were created by our students today—thoughtfully observed, expressive, and full of confidence. The attention to form, shading, and delicate detail is truly impressive, and each piece carries its own unique sense of character and care.

Anyone with kids in the Queen West area...please share ♥︎
I’m excited to share that the Children’s Art Studio is back in the Queen West neighbourhood! We are opening a new location at the corner of Crawford and Queen. You may remember us from our summer camps at Youngplace or from our studio at the Wychwood Barns (full bio below). We’re kicking things off with a Sunday morning class starting this weekend, and we’ll be in full swing this fall with art classes, camps, and school programming. In the meantime, follow us Children's Art Studio Inc for updates on free workshops and family drop-ins happening throughout the summer including special sessions just for parents...mosaics, pottery, knitting, and more!
BIO
Children’s Art Studio Inc. is a Toronto-based creative studio dedicated to process-based, open-ended art education for children and youth. The studio has been inspiring young artists for nearly 18 years through thoughtfully designed programs that emphasize creativity, exploration, and skill-building. Children’s Art Studio encourages experimentation and values the artistic journey as much as the final outcome. Programs include drawing, painting, sculpture, printmaking, and handbuilt ceramics. The studio has partnered with public and private schools, the Toronto Public Library, SickKids Hospital, the Toronto Symphony Orchestra, Baycrest Hospital, and collaborated on This Is Isaiah for Treehouse TV—a show that has aired globally millions of times—bringing meaningful art experiences to a wide range of communities. In addition to weekly classes, Children’s Art Studio offers camps, workshops, school programming, and community-based initiatives.
