Tim Kwan, DTM, today presented the Distinguished Toastmaster (DTM) award to Christine Zhao. Congratulations on your achievement, Christine!

Fellow toastmasters, the meeting will include a debate today on the resolution: "Chocolate is good for you". We are scheduled in the big room today (room #3) on the 4th floor of the library. Hope to see you there!

Congratulations to Sandy Yong of Naturopathic Toastmasters (2nd place), and Davario Rahming of Aspire Higher Toastmasters (1st place). Both delivered excellent speeches in the Area 13 contest. Davario will move on to the division contest on Monday, March 4, 2019, at North York Civic Centre (5050 Yonge Street). Start time: 6:30pm.

Thanks to everyone for making a fantastic last meeting of the year. We are taking a break for two weeks so I will see you all on January 8, 2019. Happy holidays and new year!

A really great experience!

What an awesome meeting we had yesterday (Feb. 20).
Kam Lo was an excellent Toastmaster. We had two great speeches - first an Icebreaker from Daron Laban - so very well delivered, and Tim Kwan - a humorous speech about his Dad's visit to Toronto and Montreal. But that's not all... we had a surprise guest - Ken Edge - who was our General Evaluator. Thank you, Ken, for your welcome, valued remarks. It's always a pleasure to have you visit. And who can forget our Table Topics Master, Bryan Socransky. Don't know how he came up with those "interesting" topics, but it sure made for a great meeting. Thank you to all our members for coming and participating.

Come and join us for a great hour of listening, learning and laughing. It will be time well spent!!!!
