Yesterday our campers were treated to a special visit from Chamoy the cat. We learned some fun facts about cats and were inspired to create these oil pastel and watercolour paintings of a pair of playful kittens. For an extra challenge, we learned how to weave in a circle and used wool to create woven yarn balls for our kittens. Great job, Mariner P (Gr3), Aiden L (Gr3), Yina Y (Gr3), Anna A (Gr2), Rowan P (Gr2), and Vivian R (Gr2). Thank you Chamoy for inspiring us!

that the symbiotic relationship between and plays a crucial role in maintainging the biodiversity of coral reef ecosystems? Clownfish are dependent on sea anenomes for protection, and in exchange the anemone gains protection, cleaning, and nutrient acquisition through their clownfish residents. For Wild Animals week, our Orange Group art campers used watercolour paint, collage, and styrofoam printmaking to make their own coral reefs complete with anemones and clown fish. Great work Veera S (Gr3), Henry L (Gr3), Evan P (Gr3), Sadie N (Gr2), Lillian G (Gr2), and Delani D (Gr3)!
