Since it opened its doors in 1885, Rose Avenue Junior Public School has been the beating heart of our happy community. Rose is a vibrant, downtown, inner-city school located in the centre of St. James Town near the corner of Parliament and Bloor Streets. Our student population is drawn from the 22 apartment towers - housing over 27,000 people - surrounding our school within a 1/4 square kilometre city block. It is held to be one of the most densely-populated, ethnically-diverse communities in North America. Our rich history and supportive environment have enabled thousands of students to achieve tremendous things.
