UC alumna Christine Ovcaric (BA 2004 UC) founded the Faculty of Arts & Science Sandbox program to give students the chance to solve real problems for real communities. Now that vision is paying off. UC student Emmett Young and teammates Samantha Kyle and Juliette Adams Fong recently used it to build "Take the Scenic Route," an interactive web map app that helps people explore The Beaches neighbourhood in fun and unexpected ways.
