Evolve YU would like to thank York NDP members who continue to support online voting to bring more equity, accessibility, transparency, and sustainability to York University student elections.

Additionally, we would like to thank Humber River—Black Creek MPP Tom Rakocevic (NDP) for his show of support for increasing accessibility and democratic participation in the York University community

It is for these reasons that we are disheartened to announce the withdrawal of support by the New Democrats of York University's new executive team. We hope the York NDP will reconsider its position and support progressive electoral reform in online voting.

We thank the thousands of York students who continue to support accessible online voting and look forward to enacting meaningful change on our campus
