Join SciXchange at the Toronto Botanical Gardens for the Fall Ravine Festival on Saturday, October 3rd, from 11 AM–4 PM!

We’re looking for volunteers to help facilitate our “Save the Ravine” activity, where participants will discover what helps and harms ravine ecosystems by sorting different examples onto our activity poster. 

Location: Toronto Botanical Gardens, 
Date: Saturday, October 3rd 2026
Time: 11 AM–4 PM
Volunteers will help facilitate the activity and engage with festival participants.

Hey Volunteers! 👋🏽 Looking for a way to contribute to the wider community while building your science communication skills?

Join our community partnerships program and help us bring STEM activities to after-school programs around the city. All you need is a passion for STEM - we provide the rest!

👟Training provided
🎟️ Travel covered (usually within the GTA)
👩🏾‍🤝‍👨🏻 Friendships made
🪢 Community built

Volunteers must be available for about 2 hours in the evening, one day a week (we’re especially looking for Tuesdays and Wednesdays).
