What a fantastic evening last night!
Our holiday party was filled with great music, great people and great times!

During these last few weeks of the season and as we prepare for our holiday party...I would like to specially thank all of our 2019 VNU students, teachers, instructors, studio management and pro musicians who have come out to support and sub in this year. This has been an awesome season. I look forward to all the great things to come next year! It’s been so nice to see/hear our students, who have been inspired to create their own musical groups outside of classes, use what they have learned and...got out there to perform!

Wow! So much fun tonight in our small combo jazz class. We workshopped a lot of different scale and rhythmic patterns using the Blues, Dorian and Mixolydian scales. Songs we focused on - “All Blues” & “Moanin’” You all did great! Keep at it.

Sunday 12 pm - “What Are You Doing For New Year’s Eve”, “Let it Snow”, “Mustang Sally”
Sunday 2 pm - “St. Thomas”, “Chase the Clouds Away”, “Blue Bossa”, “Feels So Good” & “Recado Bossa”

Great classes yesterday! Nice to meet some new players and some students returning from years ago. You did great on drums Mark (yesterday was his first day on the kit after 2 years off...couldn’t tell!)
We had so much fun learning and playing some new holiday songs for our party on Sunday Dec 15
