Sunshine, softball and freezies made for a memorable afternoon at SHS!

Our Grade 8 boys took to the field for their annual Grad Gift softball game and hosted their annual Freezie & Snack Sale for the school community. Yesterday’s event raised funds for the Robinson Family Fund and served as a meaningful way for the boys to give back as they prepare to graduate. We are proud of their leadership, generosity and commitment to supporting future generations of SHS students.

On Friday, we gathered for our final Assembly of the 2025–26 school year to celebrate the achievements, leadership and school spirit that defined our year at SHS. A special highlight was recognizing our outgoing Head Boy and Prefects through the cherished Tie Swap Ceremony and proudly welcoming the 2026–27 Student Leadership Teams.

Alongside these annual traditions, we celebrated our 8ers, 9ers and 10ers, recognized our math contest participants and brought plenty of energy to the Eaton Shier Gym with the presentation of the Hot Dog Award.

Congratulations to all of our award recipients and to McClintock House, this year’s Ferris Cup champions!

SHS talent shone brightly yesterday, with 70 student performers across 42 acts showcasing an incredible range of abilities, from music and magic to comedy, dance, sports skills, stunts and more. The event was inspired and led in part by our Agents of Change, who also served as MCs, guiding the audience through each performance with energy and pride.

A huge thank you to all performers, staff and audience members for making it such a memorable celebration of creativity, confidence and school spirit. Our boys should be very proud of the character they showed in supporting and encouraging one another throughout the event.
