Most of us would agree, that people like Mahatma Gandhi, Nelson Mandela, Mother Teresa, and Martin Luther King, Jr. The question clearly becomes, how did they come to the realization that what they were doing was their life mission? Did they decide that's what they wanted it to be, or did they just act without thinking about it? For Nelson Mandela to have been locked up in prison for 27 years with

out knowing why seems a stretch. These people knew clearly what their mission was, and they were running it. I believe we all have a Mission, and the challenge has now become to uncover it. If you are not aware of what your mission is, it's probably because you've never looked within deep enough to find it. Have you ever heard the famous Mark Twain quote: "The secret to of success is to make your Vocation your Vacation"? I never really understood it, until I did it in reverse. I made my Vacation my Vocation without even knowing it! July 2013, I took a week off work to volunteer to be a Coach at the Global Youth Leadership Summit in San Diego. It was one week long, from very early in the morning to very late at night. The event is incredible and really makes a difference in the lives of so many of the participants. On the plane ride home, that's where it finally hit me. After telling myself "That was the most rewarding week of my life to date", I asked myself the priceless question, "I don't want to wait until next year to do that, how could I do that every day?" and then it hit me, BAM. I knew what my Mission was! I realized that in order to find your mission, you have to realize what it is that you would do as your Vocation on your Vacation. Everyone has it within them, but most people don't do it becuse something holds them back. Here are two easy questions, that if you focus on them you will be able to move towards knowing what your mission is. What would I do every day, to make the world a better place, if I was not being paid to do it? Once you have found the answer to these two questions, you will probably have a fairly clear idea of what it is you want to do with the rest of your life. The thing is that, you can Choose your Mission! I wish you all good luck in finding your Mission, and Running it!
