Adam Beck Community,

Our annual Terry Fox Run is Thursday, September 24th and we need 9 more volunteers to help supervise our Bears along the Walk/Run Route and cheer them on!

Volunteer details:

8:00–8:15am: Arrive to pick up your fluorescent vest and confirm your route station.
~8:30am: Join us for the Terry Fox Assembly in the gym.
After the assembly: Miss Smith will let volunteers know when it’s time to head outside to take positions around the block.
~9:40 am: The run ends followed by a final sweep of the route.
The run will take place rain or shine, unless severe weather, such as thunderstorms, requires postponement.

If you can help, please email [email protected].

Thank you for helping make this a fun, meaningful and safe event for our Bears!

💙💛 Adam Beck Welcome to Kindergarten Get-Together! 💛💙

We’re excited to welcome our newest Adam Beck families and reconnect with our returning Kindergarten families before the school year begins!

This is a casual, informal get-together for all JK & SK families. It’s a wonderful opportunity for children to meet future classmates, explore the Kindergarten yard and for parents and caregivers to connect before the first day of school.

No RSVP. No schedule. No setup. Just drop by, say hello and let the kids play!

We look forward to seeing familiar faces and welcoming new ones to the Adam Beck community. 💙💛

Adam Beck Community - You’re Invited!

In June, the Grade 4–6 Garden Club and the AB Garden Committee planted the Senior Garden Sprout Box with a wonderful variety of herbs and flowers. Now, it’s thriving and ready for harvest - bursting with colour, delicious scents and fresh flavours!

Come visit, explore, smell and taste what’s growing!

RECOGNITION ASSEMBLY AND END OF YEAR VIDEO! ⭐️

On Wednesday, June 24th we will be having our Recognition Assembly where we will be presenting ribbons to students who were involved in clubs, teams, committees and choirs. We will also be sharing our End of Year Video, which is an Adam Beck tradition and one of our ways to celebrate all of the outstanding activities and events that happened at Adam Beck this year.

A BIG THANK YOU to Pat Stewart for pulling all of our wonderful photos together and creating our amazing video once again this year.

Parents are welcome to attend. We will have chairs set up at the back of the gym for you. The assembly will start at 12:30 pm. We hope to see you there!

THANK YOU! 💛💙🌿

On behalf of the Adam Beck Garden Committee and the Grade 4–6 Garden Club, a big thank you to a generous AB parent for donating beautiful hostas!

Our Garden Club gardeners spent their lunch recess arranging plants, preparing the garden bed, and each planting their very own hosta. Their hard work helped make our outdoor classroom greener, brighter and even more welcoming for everyone to enjoy.

Way to grow, Garden Club! 🌱🐝

Have extra plants, tools, soil or other gardening supplies to share? We welcome in-kind gardening donations! Please contact [email protected].

💙 Calling all rock collectors! 💙🪨

Our Grade 4–6 Garden Club is getting ready for a special rock painting project, and we need your help! If you have smooth rocks hiding in your backyard, garden, or on a nature walk, we’d love to give them a new purpose.

Drop your rock donations in the Senior Garden at the front of the school and help us grow something beautiful together. 🌱🎨
