💙💛 Adam Beck Welcome to Kindergarten Get-Together! 💛💙

We’re excited to welcome our newest Adam Beck families and reconnect with our returning Kindergarten families before the school year begins!

This is a casual, informal get-together for all JK & SK families. It’s a wonderful opportunity for children to meet future classmates, explore the Kindergarten yard and for parents and caregivers to connect before the first day of school.

No RSVP. No schedule. No setup. Just drop by, say hello, and let the kids play!

We look forward to seeing familiar faces and welcoming new ones to the Adam Beck community. 💙💛

RECOGNITION ASSEMBLY AND END OF YEAR VIDEO! ⭐️

On Wednesday, June 24th we will be having our Recognition Assembly where we will be presenting ribbons to students who were involved in clubs, teams, committees and choirs. We will also be sharing our End of Year Video, which is an Adam Beck tradition and one of our ways to celebrate all of the outstanding activities and events that happened at Adam Beck this year.

A BIG THANK YOU to Pat Stewart for pulling all of our wonderful photos together and creating our amazing video once again this year.

Parents are welcome to attend. We will have chairs set up at the back of the gym for you. The assembly will start at 12:30 pm. We hope to see you there!

On behalf of the Adam Beck Garden Committee and the Grade 4–6 Garden Club, a big thank you to a generous AB parent for donating beautiful hostas!

Our Garden Club gardeners spent their lunch recess arranging plants, preparing the garden bed, and each planting their very own hosta. Their hard work helped make our outdoor classroom greener, brighter and even more welcoming for everyone to enjoy.

💙 Calling all rock collectors! 💙🪨

Our Grade 4–6 Garden Club is getting ready for a special rock painting project, and we need your help! If you have smooth rocks hiding in your backyard, garden, or on a nature walk, we’d love to give them a new purpose.

Drop your rock donations in the Senior Garden at the front of the school and help us grow something beautiful together. 🌱🎨

School Council Garden Committee partners with the Grade 4-6 Garden Club and we’re planting the seeds of an exciting new project!

This spring, the newly launched Adam Beck Garden Club has brought together approximately 40 enthusiastic students in Grades 4–6 to help revitalize the Senior Garden at the front of the school.

Over several lunch recesses, students have been hard at work clearing weeds, preparing garden beds, and making space for a new sprout box.

Thanks to support from the Adam Beck Gardens Committee, dedicated teachers, staff and volunteers, local businesses, and generous community donations (including more than 40 bags of soil!), our young gardeners are getting ready to plant herbs, flowers, and pollinator-friendly plants before the end of the school year.

As the Garden Club blossoms, the Adam Beck Garden Committee is seeking donations to help purchase gardening tools, seeds, plants and supplies for our gardens.

Every contribution directly supports hands-on learning, environmental stewardship, student engagement and outdoor fun.

Adam Beck Goes to the Blue Jays – Thank You!

A huge thank you to our Adam Beck community for coming out to the Blue Jays game and showing your school spirit!

It was wonderful to see students, families and friends cheering together and representing Adam Beck with pride. The Blue Jays brought home a big win and the day was a home run for Adam Beck spirit and community connection.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the event such a memorable success!

🌱 Help Us Fill Our New Sproutbox Planter! 🌱

The Adam Beck Garden Committee needs your help!

This year, we redirected our remaining garden budget to support other School Council initiatives facing funding shortfalls. We were happy to do our part, but now we need a little community support to bring our new Sproutbox planter to life.

Our biggest need is garden soil. Lots of it! The planter will require approximately 34 bags of soil to fill, so every bag donated makes a difference.

We are also happy to accept donations of summer annuals and other garden plants, but soil is our top priority right now.
