CWELCC in action making childcare more affordable and accessible at Trust Child Care! Trust Child Care Centre has refunded over 600k of tuition fees directly to parents who attended our program at any point between April 1, 2022 and December 31, 2022. Effective January 1, 2023 tuition at Trust was reduced by 50%. Trust Child Care ECE teachers also benefit from CWELCC through wage enhancements!

We are excited to share that Trust Child Care Centre has opted into the Canada-Ontario early years and child care system CWELCC. Key objectives include lowering child care fees, improving wages and increasing access to quality child care programs like ours.
While we are in the early days of implementation families enrolled at Trust can expect:
1. Reduce child care fees by an average of 25% for children under the age of six, retroactive to April 1, 2022.
2. By the end of December 2022, further reduce child care fees by 50% on average.

As a parent it’s hard to trust what is written here - soo very easy to get overly focused on academic outcomes and benchmarks but the greatest gift you can give your kinder child is a program that puts emphasis on social and emotional-learning. “While early education creates an important foundation for academic skills, many parents would be surprised to know that social skills are actually far more predictive of outcomes into adulthood than early academics.”
