The Performance Summer Camp returns this summer, and our production is SHREK THE MUSICAL JR.! ✨

Designed for children ages 8–13, your child will dive into the exciting world of live performance. Over two immersive weeks, participants explore acting, singing, and movement while learning from professional teaching artists. This camp aims to build creativity and confidence through performance and backstage training, ending in an unforgettable show!

There is a place in the swamp for everyone, whether they want to take the spotlight or master the crew.

We’re thrilled to announce our work with Amazon Music to expand access to the Professional Music in Nashville Intensive!

Through a ~$20,000 USD gift-in-kind contribution, Amazon Music is helping remove financial barriers, giving TMU students direct exposure to Nashville’s world-class music industry and hands-on learning experiences with leading professionals.

Industry Connect brought 250 Creativetmu and Professional Music students, 60 industry guests, and 25 alumni to network!

This annual event puts students face-to-face with industry pros from PR, film, music, TV, and more. With rotating meetings every 10 minutes, this format is a great way for students to make connections, ask questions, and explore interesting sectors.

A special thank you to all the attendees, volunteers, and staff for making it a night to remember.

Film student Elliott Frith is bringing his stop-motion thesis project, Out of the Toil, to life!🎬

Out of the Toil is a stunning stop-motion film following a teenage mouse fighting back against a tyrannical rule of cats.

For Elliott, this project is a return to his filmmaking roots and combines his childhood love for stop-motion with a deeply collaborative creative process.

With the support of talented peers and IMA faculty, he’s bringing this vision to life. Catch Out of the Toil at this May!
