Here’s a recap of USS working on our recently newly donated LS1 glider!

We’re beyond grateful to Youth Flight Canada for this glider and for giving our students the opportunity to get hands-on and bring it back to life. Over the past few months, our students have been sanding, refinishing, and putting in countless hours to help get this glider into great shape. A big thank you to Ed Hollestele Jr and Eddy Carolen for their support throughout the way.

The LS1 will also proudly carry the competition letters AA, inspired by our student Ali Askari, who has dedicated countless hours to this project and to the University Soaring Society as a whole. ❤️🛩️

We’re excited to hopefully see the LS1 on the flight line soon! ✈️✨
