🏒 What an incredible week at our March Break Clinic!

A huge thank you to all the players who brought great energy, focus, and effort to the ice every day. From edge work and stride development to puck control and game specific hockey skills, it was great to see everyone pushing themselves and improving throughout the week.

We’re proud of the effort from every player and excited to keep building this momentum into spring and summer training.

We are so proud of Dorothy Copetti!
What a fantastic performance she had this past weekend at the U18 World Championship. Dorothy averaged a point per game with a goal in the final game and Team Canada earned the Gold Medal! We are very pleased that she brought the medal back to show us!

Featured in this video is Dave working with Jonathan Morello (Bruins draft pick & BU Commit) during one of their private lessons.

To learn more about private lessons, read an excerpt from the PSA blog on Private Lessons.

"Compared to a group lesson, a private lesson will allow the athlete to perform more quality reps with player specific corrections and video feedback to accelerate their performance. For younger athletes, private lessons offer an opportunity to gain information quickly and target specific areas in their development.
With that being said, I think of private lessons as an earned privilege. They are more intense and exposing; they require more focus to get the most out of them. Private lessons are also considerably more expensive and are not for everyone. However, they are an incredibly powerful tool for an athlete when they are ready."

See you on the ice!

August is here and so are our Summer Clinics! Clinics are divided into two hours. The first hour focuses on technical skating, and the second hour will focus on puck and stick skills.

Clinic 1 (Sold Out)

Clinic 2
Monday – Thursday (August 19, 20, 21, 22) at 1:15pm to 3:15pm

Clinic 3
Monday – Thursday (August 26, 27, 28, 29) at 9:15am to 11:15am

Clinic 4
Monday – Thursday (August 26, 27, 28, 29) at 1:15pm to 3:15pm

The skating portion of our clinics are broken down similarly into two main sections: power side and edge side. Our power side focuses on all the basic skating skills needed to play hockey—forward and backward stride, stops, turns etc. Our edge side focuses on the technical foundations of skating—one-foot edges, 3-turns, slaloms etc. Upper body control and knee bend are the 2 biggest priorities in skill development. Edge side and power side work in tandem to develop, enhance and master your overall skating ability. Groups are organized by skill, then maturity then age.

The puck portion of our clinics are divided into three skill sections. The sections include passing, sticking and shooting. Learning the technical foundations of the skills throughout the week, progressing to higher speed drills while combining movement patterns. When the puck skills are introduced while still being conscious of the optimal skating technique, players can improve to their highest potential.

We wanted to share quick highlight from the weekend.
Dave took a before & after with Morello at the NHL Drafte! We are so proud of his determination to keep getting better.

We think Dave may be a Boston Bruins fan now.
