WORKSHOP!! Join us for a spiral workshop on October 1st with Kaitlyn Elise

Aerial Spiral is one of the most mesmerizing apparatuses ever created! This workshop will cover how to create controlled spins, smooth mounting techniques, and short sequencing within the spiral. Don’t miss this unique opportunity to move, create, and explore on apparatuses that are truly one of a kind. Limited availability; reserve your spot today!

Pre-requisites:
This workshop is intended for intermediate + aerialists, previous spiral experience is not necessary. Participants should feel confident and strong in at least one aerial discipline.

Bio
Kaitlyn Elise is a multi-disciplinary aerialist specializing in flying pole and spiral. She has a signature flow-based style, and describes her practice as deeply intuitive. Her energy expands across many areas; she is a passionate teacher, and the owner of Ascension Aerials Studio in Huntsville, and Ascension Arts, a performance company. Kaitlyn Elise holds many XPERT and Movement Arts (formerly CPFA) certifications. When not teaching, training, mothering her three kids, or otherwise upside down and spinning - she is probably under the water somewhere.

Intro classes! These are pop up 4 week sessions that are designed to let a student try silks to see if they wish to join a full year class.

Upon assessment and class availability, the student may join a year one class. Artists’ Play will add classes as necessary to the full year schedule.

Spooky season is coming to Artists’ Play, and we’re looking for performers to take the stage at our TWO Halloween events!

BOO BASH: Our family-friendly Halloween circus show & fair! We’re looking for fun, playful, spooky (but not too spooky!) acts perfect for an all-ages audience.
HOLLYWOOD HALLOWEEN CIRCUS: Our 19+ Halloween cabaret where old Hollywood glamour gets a little haunted.

Get free open gym until the event and two complimentary tickets!

Aerial, circus, dance, acrobatics, character acts & more are welcome to apply!

Our yearly open house is here! Sign up for the general open house to let us know you wish to come and get information on our classes, community and events! (schedule will be set by August 5th!)

Acro Mel is bringing her experience to Artists’ Play for a weekend packed with aerial training, exploration, and plenty of time in the air.

About Mel Born and raised in Canada, Mel has trained extensively in aerial acrobatics, partner acrobatics, pole dance, yoga, dance, gymnastics, and general fitness. After performing and teaching internationally, she is now based in the Middle East, where she continues to perform, teach, and help grow the acrobatic community.
As an instructor, Mel is passionate about creating a supportive, engaging environment where students can explore movement, build confidence, and develop their skills in a healthy and positive way.
