As this year's labour day is fast approaching, people need to remember the importance of workers in society, but also the impact workers who have suffered injuries from their employer's workplace!

The last few years have proven more than ever that Canada's workers compensation system no longer functions as originally designed by Sir William Meredith.

Where workers compensation was designed to
PROVIDE FOR THOSE WORKERS INJURED BY THEIR EMPLOYER'S WORKPLACE SO THOSE INJURED WOEKERS DO NOT BECOME A BURDEN TO FRIENDS, FAMILY, AND TAXPAYERS!

Yet today, Canada's workers compensation laws, no longer provide for workers, but instead only protect employers who have dangerous workplaces!

Its time we DEMAND our courts act and declare the current workers compensation laws unconstitutional!

Too many injured workers have been FORCED into a life of poverty and homelessness so RICH CORPORATIINS have more profits!

So many injured workers are not really concerned with the WSIB office closures and the WSIB laying off close to 500 staff. The problem is this will ONLY negatively impact injured workers, as FordNation does not care about injured workers!
CALL YOU MPP TELL THEM TO STOP THE OFFICE CLOSURES AND STAFF LAYOFFS!

According to recent research of northern Ontario workers it found,

"Northwestern Ontario workers experienced negative effects from workplace injuries and illness and the WSIB process itself."

Yet, the WSIB is closing ALL offices across Ontario including the north!

Further proving the has failed Ontarians who were disabled from work by IGNORING US!

This study describes the experiences and mental health needs of injured and ill Northwestern Ontario workers in the WSIB process, in order to promote system improvements.

The Ontario Government held hearings refarding Bill 105 to amend the Workplace Safety and Insurance Act. A key pount of concern is the removal of the 72-month lockin.
The Bill 105 Committee held hearings but refused to hear from individual injured workers. Some did get to speak, but as part of groups.
Individuals who asked to speak, like myself, were denied!
As voters and Canadians we as individual injured workers have RIGHTS! One is freedom of expression.

INJURED WORKERS MUST SPEAK UP NOW!

Please call your MPP and ask them to ask the Legislature to order the Bill 105 committee to hold in person hearings across Ontario to hear from injured workers!

While the Ontario Legislature is on a super loooooooong summer break, we should never forget the dangers of BILL 105 put by our Fuher FordNation it may be passed this October. So even more injured workers will be forced into a life of poverty and homelessness!
