Chronic pain resulting from workplace injuries is a major contributing factor to su***de, sometimes persisting even after the original physical injury has healed.

There is no way FordNation would EVER do anything for workers let alone injured workers as we don't have any money to bribe him, but he will help himself! If we can show him he wil lose the next election unless he passes bill 86!

Apparently I have to watch what I say on hete as the WSIB and WSIAT are monitoring what I say.
Amazing they have so much time to HARASS injured workers but can't seem to make fair honest timely decisions?

DEMAND THEY PASS THE MEREDITH ACT!
In 1723 Sir William Blackstone created the "Commentaries on the Laws of England"
the most famous one was...
"For it is a settled and invariable principle in the laws of England [and Canada], that every right when with-held MUST have a remedy, and every injury it's PROPER redress"
Additionally, this statement has been modernized in Canada's Charter of Rights and Freedoms, where under section 7, it provides that every Canadian has a right to security of their person!
Yet, Ontario's current workers compensation law, denies an individual ANY right of redress or security of their person, if the individual can work, which is done through the use of FORCED return to work!
Moreover, this law was written by employers, and inhumanely does not care about the day to day personal tasks that a person has to perform with their work injury. The law demands the individual provide all available function to work!
The law punishes those individuals who are rarely determined by the WSIB unable to work, by reducing their income by 15%, these individual's only CRIME was to be injured at work!
Lise Vaugeois Wayne Gates Jamie West will be asking the Ontario Legislature to pass Bill 86. This is a bill to bring into law the Meredith Act a law to make workers compensation fair and just for injured workers and employers.
The current law was and is one sided!
The current law was meant to provide for employers ONLY!
DID YOU KNOW that in 26 years, the WSIB has not had a single injured worker sit on its Board of Directors.
How can anyone call the an independent fair board when it is pro-employer! If this is allowed to continue injured workers will eventually convince the courts that the current law is unconstitutional. This will likely mean a return to to pre-Meredith days when workers sued their employers.
Fancy lawyers and insurance will only protect bad employers for so long!

Updat on National Charter Class Action
reached out to the WSIB lawyer and learned the the judge had issued the order on August 1, 2025. Intetesting as I nor any other injured worker received no notification.
The next step is to file an appeal with court of appeal for Ontario, if they see Injured workers as human beings or not!
Is a new hashtag all should and MUST use to tell their HORROR stories of being FORCED back to work!
