May Milestones Moments! 🌸💐✨
May was filled with celebration, exploration, and meaningful learning experiences across all our programs as we welcomed warmer days and embraced the beauty of spring.
🌻 Toddlers explored the colours yellow and blue through sensory activities, creative play, and classroom discussions. They also enjoyed a special Farmer-Themed Dress-Up Day and welcomed families into the classroom for a joyful Mother’s Day Tea Party filled with connection and celebration.
🔤 Junior Preschool continued their alphabet journey with the letters P, Q, and R, building letter recognition through hands-on activities and meaningful object sharing. They also enjoyed a community walk, exploring signs of spring and connecting with nature along the way.
🚗 Senior Preschoolers explored transportation through creative activities and classroom discussions while learning about different ways people travel. A special visit to the Book Bank encouraged a growing love for stories and reading, while Mother’s Day celebrations brought families together for meaningful moments.
🌸 Kindergarteners had an exciting month full of outdoor exploration and special experiences. From visiting the Cherry Blossoms at Trinity Bellwoods Park to participating in Bike and Roll Day and their monthly library visit, students embraced spring through movement, storytelling, and discovery. Their Mother’s Day celebration, complete with songs and activities, created beautiful memories shared with families.

Our kinders are exploring building and structure through hands-on construction, using connectors to create shapes and 3D forms. These activities help develop spatial awareness, problem-solving, and an early understanding of how things are built.

🧩 Our senior preschoolers are working on “My Face” puzzles, learning to recognize facial features and how they come together. These activities help build self-awareness, visual recognition, and early problem-solving skills...plus this was SUPER fun!

🔤 Our kindergarteners are learning the letter “Z” through hands-on activities, helping them recognize sounds, shapes, and connections in language. These early literacy skills build confidence and set the foundation for reading and writing.

📚 Library day with our Kinders: Choosing their own books, flipping through pages, and getting curious about new stories — this is where early literacy really starts to click. From “Giant Giant” to “Hand, Hand, Fingers, Thumb,” lots of great finds this visit. They even got the chance to check out their own books to take home with their library cards!
we believe moments like this build independence, confidence, and a genuine love for reading.

April Milestones Moments! 🌸🐰✨
A month full of discovery, creativity, and seasonal learning across all our programs!
🧸 Toddlers explored spring through hands-on sensory play, learning about colours, animals, and insects in a fun and engaging way.
🐣 Junior Preschool celebrated Easter while focusing on the letter “M,” building recognition through interactive games, art, and group activities.
🧩 Senior Preschoolers worked on the letter “X” and explored self-awareness through their “My Face” puzzles, along with Easter-themed crafts and activities.
🚀 Kindergarteners had an exciting month, from their library visit to learning about the Artemis II mission. They explored space through books, art, and even dressing up as astronauts.
💛 A beautiful month of growth, creativity, and connection as we continue into spring.
