📢 Blantyre’s “Share the Love” Candy Grams Start Tomorrow! ❤️🍬
Celebrate friendships and show appreciation for classmates and teachers with a sweet surprise! Candy Grams will be on sale daily at lunch from Feb 5-11 in the front hall. They will be distributed on Feb 12th and teachers will have extras so no student feels left out!
💰 Bring a loonie (or more!) to choose from a variety of cards and fun add-ons like stickers, candy, and special stationery.
All proceeds support school educational initiatives through Parent Council. Let’s spread the love—see you there! 💌✨

🎥🌟 Movie Night is Here! 🌟🎥
Get ready for an exciting evening as we watch The Wild Robot! Doors open at 5:00 PM, and we’ll have an intermission at 6:15 PM to recharge for the rest of the fun.
Bring your stuffy, blanket, water bottle, and reusable plate to join in on the action and support our sustainability efforts.
It’s going to be a night full of energy, laughter, and good times—see you all there! 🎉

A reminder that tomorrow, Thursday May 23 is Fun Fair at Blantyre, which will run from 4pm until 7:30pm. If you have not purchased online, you can still buy tickets and wristbands onsite for treats and rides, and we have ordered a quantity of food combos from the BBQ that are available on a first-come, first-served basis. We have enough extras for close to 100 people, so we are hopeful anyone that wants to come out and participate will do so.
Other highlights of the day:
- We have a Dunk Tank which the kids will try and "sink" Mr Fine, Mr. McLiesh and Mr. Head as well as a few courageous parent volunteers!
- We have a fire truck from Toronto Fire Services from 4-5pm
- We have MORE RIDES THAN EVER BEFORE, so those wristbands will go a long way. Look out for the massive inflatables and the new Velcro Wall!
- The grade 5 - 8 classes have been invited to sign up for the skills competition and a chance to win one of six $50 gift cards (runs from 6:30 until 7ish)
- The class basket raffle, photo booth and face painting table are back!
- Treats for sale include popcorn, cotton candy, jolly rancher lollipops, chips, giant freezies as well as a host of beverage options
- The BBQ truck (pre-order, plus additional quantities as noted above) include Beef Burgers, Halal Burgers, Veggie Burgers and Hot Dogs, with the combo including a drink
Please note we accept CASH at the ticket table for all wristband and ticket purchases - we do not have a point of sale device for debit / credit card transactions, so please remember to bring cash
We hope everyone who can make it will take part in one of the last events of the school year.w
