Our latest Newsletter highlights the key advocacy priorities emerging from the 2SLGBTQ+ Poverty in Canada Study.
Preliminary findings point to critical and ongoing inequities, including:
• The hidden realities of poverty experienced by many 2SLGBTQ+ people.
• The compounded barriers facing Two-Spirit and Indigenous communities.
• The disproportionate economic marginalization of trans and gender-diverse people.
• The heightened risks experienced by 2SLGBTQ+ youth and newcomers.
These findings reinforce the need for equitable policies, culturally responsive supports, and sustained action to address the structural drivers of poverty.
