Concert Alert!

We are so lucky to live and go to school in a place with access to hundreds of places to see live music. The best way to get better at our own craft of music performance is surrounding ourselves with music that demonstrates the excellence we strive for…

The York University Wind Symphony (conducted by our friend, Mr. Lum !) has their last concert of the year coming up the weekend after March Break. Surround yourself with musical excellence - bathe it in, absorb it, LEARN FROM IT!

Tickets are only $15 for students. Swipe for purchase details!

A huge THANK YOU to all of the friends and family who came out to support the Mackenzie Music department on Wednesday at Spring Music Night!

It wouldn’t be a MacMusic event without *some* tech hiccups, so if you had difficulty accessing the digital programme, please use this link to check it out, read about our guest Conductor, Composer Dan Austin, and the powerful words of Composer Randall Standridge, on why he wrote our Finale piece, ME (reAffirmation). Better late than never, right?
